The latest Papa John's campaign to promote its cheddar cheese range is going all out when it comes to street culture and trends. Mixing street wear with its delivery drivers uniform and the company's own music.

The Papa x Cheddar campaign is internationally run and it's aiming the Gen Z target. The "Cheddar Look" will have 30 clothing items and will be available for sale on Depop here.

This campaign explained by Papa John’s VP: “Its satirical humor and references to Gen Z street collaboration culture nicely propels cheddar back into fashion. It’s a first for us, but also for fans who can get their hands on both the collaboration’s pizza and exclusive items of delivery driver clothing.” (Adweek)

Here's the video:

I find this campaign absolutely hilarious, the satire of Gen Z and streetwear to promote cheddar pizzas is very wild and current to 2021. It cuts through the noise and is actually pretty catchy without being annoying. I like how the main color palettes are green and yellow. The green representing the branding and yellow the cheddar. Love the contemporary energy and overall concept of the campaign, a trendsetter.

Speaking of Gen Z, check out my playlist inspired from TikTok hit songs:

Spotify includes explicit content because its offers how the artist intends it to be heard. Look out for EXPLICIT or E tags on any releases.
