Polaroid has been very active on their brand efforts lately. The brand recently announced the world's smallest analog instant camera, the Polaroid Go, with beautiful visuals from the artist La Boca. And also collaborated with brands such as Lacoste and Teva for branded cameras and clothing.

This time, the collaboration with Fendi brings a fun iteration of the classic Polaroid OneStep Close-Up 600. Originally released in 1992, it's a classic model with more sophisticated features. The camera has a 110mm lens with an f/10 aperture.

The details on the special edition camera is all about fashion and a price tag of $950. The camera's design features Fendi's FF Vertigo Motif and a fisheye effect logo. The designer behind is Sarah Coleman, which has been behind many disruptive and thought provoking design pieces .

Here's a look into the camera:

This collaboration is part of Fendi's Summer 2021 "Capsule Collection", that draws inspiration from the 70s and 90s. The camera is available now in Fendi Boutiques and from fendi.com for $950.

I personally think this is such a fun collaboration, I've always been a big fan of both brands. Fendi has been coming up with interesting collections and Polaroid is such a staple and I love their branding materials in general. Polaroid is very colorful and retro and that matches Fendi's collection really well, my favorite part is definitely the fish-eyed logo.

Here's a playlist of my favorite 80s/90s tunes:

Spotify includes explicit content because its offers how the artist intends it to be heard. Look out for EXPLICIT or E tags on any releases.

What about you, what do you think about this collaboration?
